Director of Formation, Pat Walsh, completed his visits to all schools in the District when he travelled to Jersey on Thursday May 16th.

De La Salle College Waterford celebrated Founder’s Day in a memorable way as they used the occasion to honour a former principal and a very influential Lasallian from our District, Br. Stephen Deignan.

To mark this special day, Brother Superior Armin Luistro, has shared a message with Lasallians across the globe.

Lasallians across the District celebrated Founder’s Day in a variety of ways, with the official celebration seeing many coming together on Zoom for the annual Founder’s Day Service.

A number of well-known Lasallians have taken part in a fun charity event to help raise funds for a Lasallian School in India.

The kind-hearted efforts of one student at De La Salle school St Helens has been acknowledged by the charity that received a very generous donation and support.

An exciting new initiative is being launched by the La Salle Foundation that will bring the global strategies of the Lasallian Mission into the classrooms across our District, and to help those most in need across the world.

The District is mourning the loss of Br. Gerald Fogarty who passed away in St John’s House, St Helens, on Friday April 12th.

Both students and staff at De La Salle College Senior School continue to broaden their horizons by opening themselves up to many experiences that help embrace the Lasallian values.

The members of the Student Animator Group at De La Salle High School Downpatrick were very pleased that their work was recognised at the recent National Lasallian Competition for schools.

The fantastic engagement by students during Mission Month at St Margaret Ward has helped nurture the Lasallian Ethos in the school.

In the spirit of creativity and exploration, first-year students at De La Salle College Churchtown have taken a deep dive into the heart of their heritage.

It has been an action-packed few weeks at St Joseph’s College, Beulah Hill with events including, celebrating St Joseph’s Feast Day, taking part in National Science Week and enjoying a music workshop.

Brother Jesu Raj, one of the leaders animators of the many activities in the recent Culture of Vocations Week in Malta has reflected on a very rewarding week for all involved.

The halls of De La Salle College Churchtown were abuzz with excitement and anticipation as students, parents, and representatives from various industries gathered for an unforgettable Careers Evening.

The Conference of Visitors of Europe (RELEM)  took place in Iasi, Romania from April 8th to 12th, 2024. It was a wonderful gathering of the Visitors and the RELEM MEL Council to enhance the work of the region in relation to all aspects of mission, formation and structures.
