Lasallian Induction CPD Returns to Malta for Two Cohorts in 2026

The Lasallian Induction CPD (Tier 1) begins on 22 July at the La Salle Retreat Centre in Mellieha, Malta. The seven-day formation programme runs as two cohorts in 2026, the first from 22 to 29 July and the second from 19 to 26 August, with the same programme delivered in each.

Held annually in Malta, the Induction CPD is open to staff in Lasallian schools and centres across the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta, and the wider Lasallian Region of Europe and the Mediterranean (RELEM). It is intended particularly for those who are new to the Lasallian mission and who want a grounding in where that mission comes from and what it asks of them.

Across the seven days, participants explore Lasallian heritage, spirituality, and pedagogy through community, reflection, and immersive experience. The programme sets out to deepen participants' awareness and understanding of the Lasallian family, its heritage and its spirituality, to connect colleagues to the International Lasallian network, and to build a sense of belonging to the Lasallian mission.

The La Salle Retreat Centre in Mellieha provides the setting for both cohorts. Much of the programme's work happens outside formal sessions, in the conversations, shared meals, and time together that come from a residential week.

Coverage from both cohorts will follow on the District website and social media channels.
