Memorable end to the year at St Benild

First Holy Communion Commemoration and Farewell

The scholastic year at St. Benild School came to an end with many meaningful experiences which will surely leave a mark on all our pupils. The Grade 2 pupils and their parents were all invited to a special ceremony to commemorate the First Holy Communion carried out in the several parishes around Malta. This was followed by a celebration at school for parents, members of staff and children a like. This celebration also marks the end of the two-year journey spent at St. Benild School. It's now time to leave the nest and spread your wings dear pupils!

Marking the end of our Leavening Funds Project

What better way of marking the end of our Leavening Funds Project than preparing healthy snacks in class - whilst making sure to  incorporate fruit and vegetables grown at school during the past two terms! What a great satisfaction! Food never tasted as good! We also made sure to think of others. We donated tomatoes, peppers, melon, aubergine and cabbage to the Brothers' community, as well as to the people in our neighbourhood.

End of Term Professional Development for Educators

Very interesting training sessions  for educators were held in the last week of term. These were related to the introduction of co-education next scholastic year . Many myths and facts about boys and girls were presented to our educators, hence challenging some popular believes. Moreover, a session about understanding the brain in teaching and learning, what is known as Educational Neuroscience was also presented by an expert in this field of study.

Orientation Day for the Co-Ed Cohort

At the very end of June, St. Benild School opened its doors to the new cohort of pupils expected to join us in the scholastic year 2025-2026. A fun filled morning was organised as a means of getting to know each other - pupils, parents and members of staff alike! We look forward to watching our pupils shine throughout the year!

Animator's Gathering - BBQ Night

Lasallian Animators from all Colleges in Malta -  Stella Maris College (including St. Benild School) and De La Salle College -  met at the La Salle Pastoral Centre in Mellieha at the beginning of July so as to celebrate another year of commitment towards the Lasallian mission. Sincere thanks to all Lasallian educators who go that extra mile to live their vocation in their everyday work. Together we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our school communities. Let's keep in mind 'The Domino Effect' - our little gestures can leave a remarkable effect on many others in our schools!
