Due to the huge success of St Peter’s Primary School’s Race for Life event for Cancer Research UK last year, they are doing it once again.

Students at De La Salle Basildon have once again illustrated their undoubted talent, determination and willingness take on challenges by excelling in the Scholars Programme and the Jack Petchey Speakout Challengee.

On 18 May 2022, during the 46th General Chapter of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, the Assembly of 70 Chapter Brothers, meeting in the Aula Magna of the Generalate in Rome, elected Brother Armin Luistro 28th  Superior General of the Institute.

The 46th General Chapter in Rome is currently approaching the end of the third and final week, with the District being represented by Brothers Aidan Kilty, Ben Hanlon and Michael Curran, while Heather Ruple is also present as Co-Secretary of Association in the Institute.

Students at De La Salle College in Malta are continuously learning about the Lasallian values and at a recent retreat, a group of Form 2 students had the opportunity to spend some quality time together and reflect upon one of the Lasallian Core Values, 'Respect for all persons'.

Students at De La Salle College Macroom used their artistic talents to create anew art display that was prepared in advance of this year's De La Salle Day.

The representatives at the 46th General Chapter from the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta have reflected on a very rewarding gathering thus far.

The contribution of De La Salle College, Waterford, to the education of the country has been recognised with the awarding of two renowned historical Blue Plaques from Waterford Civic Trust.
