A special presentation was made to Cheryl Ward in recognition of her wonderful contribution to the De La Salle Brothers as manager of the Clayton Court Community for 25 years.

Br. Tommy Walsh has revealed that he is humbled and honoured to accept the position of Auxiliary Visitor of the District of Ireland, Great Britain & Malta.

The end of term at De La Salle College Waterford witnessed a number of significant events.

The Lasallian Values continue to be lived out on a daily basis in Beneavin De La Salle College with recent activities including Culture Awareness and Anti-Racism Week, Pay it Forward Day, Student Enterprise and a hike for suicide awareness, while they also picked up a Global Citizenship award.

Students at De La Salle College Senior School in Malta promoted the Lasallian Ethos through a number of activities over recent weeks, including the Prince’s Trust, cooking, painting and volunteering.

Students from Lasallian schools in Malta have been enjoying time spent at the De La Salle Retreat Centre, Mellieha, over recent weeks.

Year nine students from De La Salle St Helens competed against other schools in the 2022 Mock Magistrates Competition, which was run by the Magistrates Association and HM Courts and Tribunals Service. 

Students from St Margaret Ward went on retreat to Castlerigg Manor, In the Lake District.

On Thursday 26th May, The De La Salle Academy got into the party spirit by holding a Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea for our local pensioners.

As part of St Margaret Ward’s commitment to the Lasallian value of Concern for the Poor, this term we have been collecting Food and donations for our local Parish Food bank.

Following the disruption caused by the pandemic, Lasallian Projects are planning to recommence their overseas activities next year, with plans already started to recruit volunteers. Br. John Deeney explains the full details:

Students at De La Salle College Senior School in Malta have been enjoying many activities over recent weeks including a Maths Trail and team-building.

The new 1719 Society at De La Salle School St Helens held their first order of service when the visited the Vides Centre in Croxteth and it proved to be a very successful day.

In January Beneavin De La Salle College launched the District awards with the help of the animation team and Lasallian Prefects.  Students who engaged in the award took on challenges based on the 5 core principles.
