St Patrick’s Grammar School, Downpatrick, was honoured as the Recipient of the Spirit of Catholic Education Award 2024 at the Spirit of Catholic Education Awards.

St Gregory’s Bath have been honoured with the British Council International Award which they collected from the Houses of Parliament.

The North West Cluster Gathering took place in St Helens on Saturday January 13th with the focus on Lasallian Spirituality

In December, all pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class at St Declan’s National School in Waterford took part in the carepack.ie Christmas Kindness Initiative.

The New Year began with the District assisting both St Augustine’s Catholic College and St Margaret Ward with their inset days.

Lasallians throughout the District are invited to a prayer service that is taking place on Friday February 2nd at 5.30pm (IRE/GB) and 6.30pm (Malta) on Zoom, organised by Br. Mario, Br. John and Br. Larry.

Volunteers are being sought to help construct eight classrooms in our Lasallian school St Joseph's Higher Secondary School Keelamudiman in Tamil Nadu in India for three weeks from the end of June into July.

Students at De La Salle High School Downpatrick put the 5 Core Principles into action in the lead-up to Christmas with an initiative to benefit those in need.

The La Salle District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta is very well represented at the CIL (Lasallian International Formation Centre) 2024 Programme which is currently taking place in Rome.

The strength of the Lasallian ethos in De La Salle College Waterford was emphasised once again as they have an impressive total of 23 Lasallian Leaders.

With the Christmas tests completed, marked and returned, it was time in De La Salle High School Downpatrick to begin winding down after a very busy term.

One of the highlights of the year at De La Salle College Waterford is the school show, and this year’s event proved to be another memorable occasion for all involved.

Students at St Gerald’s De La Salle College continue to embody the Lasallian Core Principles of Concern for the Poor and Social Justice, along with Respect for All Persons, through their actions that make a tangible difference in our community.

It has been a busy few weeks at St. Colman’s B.N.S. as the school prepared for Christmas.

Students at Castlebar Primary School got into the Christmas spirit by delivering Christmas post to our schoolmates in our ASD classroom.

Before they team at La Salle Pastoral Centre Dublin headed off for a well-earned break, they wished all in the District a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

The abundance of creativity and Lasallian Spirit that exists in our District was evident in the response to the Christmas Card Design activity this year.

Director of Formation, Pat continued his visits to schools across the District this month in both Ireland and Great Britain.

As we head towards Christmas all at La Salle Pastoral Centre Castletown give thanks for the many groups that have come to us over the past few weeks, from Offaly, Tipperary, Laois and Limerick.
