The Pastoral Centre in Belfast is up and running with a busy start again this year. The team has enjoyed facilitating retreats for Year 8 (11/12 year olds), Year 11 (14/15 year olds) Year 12 (15/16 year olds) and Year 14 (17/18 year olds) students.

Brother Superior Armin Luistro was once again the guest at the District Ministry Leaders Conference in Castletown on Thursday October 17th.

Day three of the visit involved a cross over between Student Leadership Programmed and the Ministry Leaders Conference, highlighting the rich diversity in the District and how we are all working together to nurture and sustain the Mission.

The events to celebrate the visit of Brother Superior Armin Luistro to the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta, continued on Tuesday October 15^th at Castletown.

The day began with the Irish Brothers welcoming Br Armin to a special service of faith and fraternity at Miguel House and also saw the commencement of the Lasallian Student Leadership programme organised by MEL Ireland and led by Jason Poole.

Brother Superior General Armin Luistro began his tour of the District with a visit to St John’s Education Centre in Glasnevin on Monday October 14th.

From next year, De La Salle College and Stella Maris College, including St Benild School, will move towards a co-educational setting. The transformation shall take place over an 11-year period.

St Illtyd’s Catholic High School, Romney, Cardiff, ended its year long centenary celebrations with a special Centenary Dinner at the President’s Suite in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

This term, St Peter’s Catholic School in Bournemouth, welcomed Primary pupils to join this year’s team of Lasallian Leaders within school.

All educators of St Benild, Stella Maris College (all sections) have gathered to start off the new scholastic year on Monday, September 23rd. This gathering was led by our Director of Educational Mission, Mr Stephen Cachia.

This past week all of the new year 7 cohort at St Gregory’s Catholic College have participated in their first retreat day on the theme of ‘You are all God’s chosen people’

During these Lasallian Days for Peace whose theme is "1 La Salle: our pilgrimage for peace", as the RELEM Region we want to be close to our brothers and sisters who are suffering from war all over the world, but especially in Palestine, Israel and Lebanon.

On Friday 13th, St Gerald’s De La Salle College LCA students, accompanied by their teacher Ms. Flynn, visited Castlebar Men’s Shed as part of their Community Work module.

On Tuesday, September 17th, De La Salle College Churchtown had the privilege of hosting an exceptional Open Day, inviting the local community, families, and prospective students to tour our school.

St Benildus College Dublin welcomed a new crop of first years on Thursday August 22nd and a new school year began to grow. Since opening in late August, the school has been a hive of activity. Below, we share some of the highlights so far.
