January 2025, in this jubilee year of hope, has been bookended by some stormy weather but in between the team at Castletown Retreat Centre has been blessed to have been able to welcome several groups to us.

St Stephen’s BNS Waterford organised some Christmas Craft Classes with parents over the past two weeks. Parents really enjoyed making door wreaths and table centre pieces and everyone produced some really beautiful work.

At De La Salle School St Helens, our commitment to nurturing the spiritual lives of our students takes many forms, one of which is the monthly Day of Prayer.

Earlier this year, on October 4th, twenty of SGC’s Transition Year students from St Gerald’s De La Salle College Castlebar participated in a charity sleep-out event at the front of the school to raise funds and awareness.
