Learning, growing and sharing at Malta CPD

Throughout July and August, two groups gathered in Mellieha, Malta for a Lasallian Induction Programme. Colleagues from Ireland, Great Britain, Malta, Germany, Belgium and Austria came together as strangers and left as friends, as they journeyed through the week learning, growing, sharing and celebrating.

The programme takes a closer look at the Founding Story, the progression of the Lasallian Educational Mission and how Brothers' schools became Lasallian schools. As a group we reflected on our own personal vocation stories and looked at leadership and community through a Lasallian lens. These wonderful moments of learning are complemented by trips to Valletta and Gozo and undoubtedly the highlight was a visit to Stella Maris and De La Salle College for a tour and dinner with the Brothers.

The District Mission Team would like to give special thanks to the dedicated and inspiring team in Malta who generously gave of their time to support this excellent programme. As one participant reflected, "Thank you, I came for my school. But I got so much more for my own journey."

Details regarding CPDs for 2026, will be released later in the Autumn term.
