Macroom students show their caring side

TY students are showing their caring side once again this Christmas as they are back in action for their annual charity appeal.

If you spot them around town, give them a wave — and thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your support makes a real difference.

Christmas Fun at The Hub

On Monday, The Hub took a festive trip to the Ballincollig Reel Cinema to watch Elf — and it was every bit as hilarious and heart-warming as we remembered.

After the movie, everyone headed to McDonald’s for a well-earned treat.

A brilliant start to the Christmas celebrations.

Congratulations to Cian Cronin and Tom Browne

We are delighted and incredibly proud to celebrate Cian and Tom, who have both received their UCC Quercus Entrance Scholarships. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent.

Well done lads — everyone here at DLS is very proud of you.

Club Gaeilge

The boys had great craic in today playing Stop an Bus.

Plenty of laughter and cúpla focal thrown around — brilliant to see them enjoying Irish in such a fun way.

Support Our TY Student Enterprise Team

TY students Kian Dineen, Braden Morey and Ciarán McSweeney are downtown in the run-up to Christmas, running their stall at the local market as part of the Student Enterprise Programme.

They’re selling a gorgeous range of Christmas items, including: Festive mugs, Christmas socks,  Christmas-themed dog blankets, Gingerbread man teddies, and Christmas antler headbands.

If you’re in town, be sure to stop by, say hello, and support their brilliant work.

Díospóireacht

Rinne Ivan Rybalka, Jack Browne agus Robbie Magee obair na gcapall inniu nuair a ghlac siad páirt i ndíospóireacht Gael-Linn ar Zoom i gcoinne Coláiste Loretto i mBaile Brigín, Baile Átha Cliath.

Ba é an rún a bhíodh á phlé dir na foirne ná ‘Tugann muintir na háite aire maith don timpeallacht’. Bhí Coláiste De La Salle ar son an rúin agus is fíor a rá gur dhíospóireacht bhríomhar a bhi ann! Maith sibh a bhuachaillí!
