Students at De La Salle College Belfast have had a memorable start to the new year with events including a ‘New Beginnings’ Mass and success on the sporting front.

Lasallian Mission Week was celebrated at St. Benild School, Malta, from October 17th to 23rd with many activities organised.

On Tuesday 11th Oct 2022 and Thursday 13 Oct 20022 De La Salle High School Downpatrick and Blackwater IC held a 'Science and Conservation in our Community' Shared Education Field Trip to Strangford Lough, Castleward.

It has been a busy few months for the Castletown Community in Co Laois, including the arrival of two Brothers.

There was great sadness throughout the District and in the wider Lasallian family following the death of Br. David O’Riordan. Br David, a native of Co Limerick, passed away at Miguel House on Sunday October 2nd at the age of 92.

All in St. Stephen's BNS Waterford were absolutely delighted to witness the official opening of Lasallian House on Friday, October 14th, 2022.

The Pastoral Centres in Ireland held a Staff Retreat Day in the De Salle Retreat Centre Dublin at St John’s House, Ballyfermot, on Friday October 21st.

Sam Cantillon, Chaplain at De La Salle School, St Helens, returned home from a trip to Rome with members of the school’s 1719 Society and was moved to share the sense of community and ‘home’ that she felt as part of the Lasallian network.

Students from the 1719 Society in St Helens recently returned from a memorable trip to Rome where they visited the Generalate, a Lasallian School, St Peter’s Basilica and also had time for a tour of the city.

St John’s Community, St Helens, is mourning the loss of Br. Matthew Sasse and Br. Anthony Brunning who both passed away this month.

Students and staff at De La Salle School St Helens continue to embrace and share the Lasallian Values and over the past few weeks they have been busy with SVP Youth Group, Staff Accompaniment and Year 7 retreats.

Students at St Gerald’s De La Salle College in Castlebar have continue to live and share the Lasallian Values with a number of recent initiatives, while also broadening their minds with school tours, and representing the college on the sporting front.

Students at De La Salle College Senior School in Malta have been taking part in a number of activities recently, including volunteering projects and Pink October.

In August this year, Yvonne Joye took part in the District Lasallian Induction CPD, and she has shared her memories of what proved to be a wonderful and uplifting experience.

It continues to be a very busy and happy time at De La Salle Retreat Centre Dublin.

Students and staff at De La Salle College Macroom were in for a treat recently when teacher and member of Kerry’s All-Ireland winning team, Shane Ryan, brought in the famous Sam Maguire Cup for a visit.

De La Salle College, Jersey, celebrated the completion of a 3G Astro Pitch which has enriched the already extensive sporting facilities at the school

This year’s school theme at De La Salle College Junior School is ‘Dreams.’ The Junior School Animation Team and all the educators think that all students have fantastic dreams and aspirations.

De La Salle College Churchtown participated in the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, as helpers in assisting pilgrims who were sick and elderly.

The District Young Lasallian Council has invited young people across the District to take part in a design a Christmas card activity.
