Grandparents honoured at Monastery NS

Grandparents’ Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to welcome our grandparents into our school community at Monastery NS, Ardee. We are always delighted to open our doors and show them the learning, creativity, and progress happening in our classrooms. This special day allows children to share their achievements and spend meaningful time with their grandparents, who play such an important role in their lives.

We warmly welcomed over 220 grandparents and thank them for their unfailing love, support, and guidance always. We were also delighted to have our Parish Priest Canon Murphy and Fr. Francesco join us for this special occasion. We are looking forward to next year’s celebrations already.

Christmas celebrations

Christmas celebrations are a very important and joyful time in Monastery N.S. in Ardee, Co.Louth. We were delighted to bring pupils, teachers, and families together to share the spirit of kindness, giving and happiness by hosting our annual Christmas concerts in our school gym. How remarkable it is to ensure that 250 boys and girls shine on stage in Monastery N.S.

Through singing carols, performing in nativity plays, decorating classrooms, and taking part in festive activities, children learn about teamwork, generosity, and the true meaning of Christmas. These celebrations also create special memories that students will cherish for many years after they have left us in Monastery N.S.
