Senior School students practise the importance of giving

During the festive season, Form 4 students took part in charity initiatives that highlighted the importance of giving and helping others. After the end-of-term Christmas Mass, they presented a €250 cheque to ‘Help Us Help’, reflecting their collective effort and generosity.

Guided by the Lasallian value of thinking of others, the students chose to support an organisation that cares for animals. The funds were raised through various Christmas activities and fundraising events held throughout the term.

Meanwhile, Form 5 students engaged in several charity initiatives to learn about and practise the importance of giving during the festive season. Students presented Fondazzjoni Dar Suret il-Bniedem with a number of food and toiletries hampers, together with a cheque of €250.

Throughout this scholastic year, our school community has been focusing on the theme “All Is Connected”. In the spirit of this motto, both the Senior School and Junior School worked together with the support of our Lay Chaplain. As part of this collaborative effort, Year 6 students also prepared Christmas cards, which were donated to the same NGO.

Christmas jumper

The Senior School Student Council organised the Christmas Jumper Fundraising activity. All proceeds will be donated to Dar Frate Jacoba. Thank you all for your support and donations. Your generosity never goes unnoticed.

Handball

A selection of Form 1 and Form 2 students progressed to the MSSF Interschools Handball finals, which were held later in the scholastic year.  The students played as a team and managed to win the last group match to qualify for the finals. They showed resilience and unity. Well done to all involved.

Christmas activity

The Teachers vs Students football match was a thrilling Christmas activity where both sides showcased their skills. In the end, the students emerged victorious, proving their sporting skills. A fun event that boosted team spirit and festive spirit.

Student spotlight

Student Spotlight: Steve Dimech. We’re proud to commend Steve Dimech, one of our Form 3 Computer Studies students, for his impressive dedication and initiative. In his free time, Steve completed an online course in Game Development, exploring the skills and creativity behind building digital games. During his Computer Studies lesson, he delivered a fantastic presentation showcasing the games he learned to create through the course. His enthusiasm, hard work, and passion for learning truly stand out. Well done, Steve — keep aiming high and inspiring others.

Retreat

Form 1 Retreat Group 1 held a successful retreat in October 2025 under the theme “The Key to Friendship”. Students reflected on the values of trust, respect, and kindness through talks, group activities, prayer, and shared moments of fun. The retreat was a wonderful opportunity for bonding, personal growth, and building lasting friendships. Thank you to all the educators who made it possible.

Voluntary Work

Form 2 students took part in a meaningful voluntary work visit to Dar tal-Kleru, organised by DLS Chaplaincy.
The students helped out with various tasks and spent time supporting the residents, showing great compassion, responsibility, and teamwork throughout the day. It was truly heart-warming to see them giving their time and making a positive difference in the community.
A big well done to all the students who attended — you represented our school proudly.
