Work of High School’s Animator Group is recognised

The members of the Student Animator Group at De La Salle High School Downpatrick were very pleased that their work was recognised at the recent National Lasallian Competition for schools.

The school entry highlighted the work they have done this academic year in organising a Staff Appreciation Day as well as composing a Prayer To Prepare for the coming amalgamation of schools in Downpatrick to Lecale Trinity Grammar School.

The students are currently working on a whole school event to mark our Founder’s Day, May 15th. Mr Keeley, School Animator, praised the students for the work they have been doing, commending them for their generosity and willingness to help develop the Lasallian ethos in the school community on a daily basis.
