Andrew Greenhalgh works at De La Salle School in St Helens as an IT engineer and surprised us all on our return from lockdown by sharing a talent that none of us knew he had - a gift for writing poetry.

The end of the school year at De La Salle College Dundalk, saw staff and students bid a fond farewell to retiring principal, Patricia O’Leary.

The District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta celebrated Founder’s Day with a special service on Friday May 14th that highlighted the sense of meaning and purpose that exists in our vibrant District.

The Lasallian Awards initiative was recently introduced and thanks to the efforts of the organisers, it proved to be very popular with schools across the District.

As part of events to celebrate Founder’s Day, at De La Salle College, Churchtown, a Mass was held in the local Church of the Good Shepherd on Friday May 14th at 10am.

During Founder’s week, De La Salle School in St Helens marked the occasion by creating a space in the school grounds to be a space of beauty, of reflection and a way to celebrate nature and the world that we live in.

De La Salle High School, Downpatrick, recently had a guest speaker Paul McArdle (Off Your Head Podcast) into our school to chat and tell his story of his ongoing journey to recovery from a Drug Addiction.
