St. Benildus College celebrated Le Chéile Day with the theme “Spreading Kindness in Le Chéile Schools”. The highlight was a Grandparents’ Morning hosted by the Religion Department, where First Year students

Success on the sporting front has helped boost the great sense of community at De La Salle College Churchtown and also provided an opportunity to meet with fellow Lasallians.

A group of Lasallian volunteers all calling for support to help complete the building of a school in one of the poorest parts of India by raising funds with the ‘Greenway Charity Walk’ on May 17th.

Students and staff at De La Salle College Dundalk have begun an exciting project to paint school benches in vibrant colours thanks to the Lasallian Leavening Fund.

The focus on Lenten almsgiving was truly inspiring here at De La Salle, St Helens as our students have demonstrated incredible compassion and a real desire to make a positive impact, both locally and beyond.

In the lead up to the Easter break Castletown Pastoral Centre welcomed several Transition Year and Confirmation groups to us, including the Confirmation class from St Stephen's De La Salle, Waterford.

Superior General Brother Armin is visited Stella Maris College and St Benild School on Monday April 28th where he met with students and educators on what proved to be a wonderful day for all.

The District Vocation Commission has crafted this year’s Founder’s Day with the theme Lasallians: Agents of Hope for the Future. The chosen theme resonates with our own Lasallian Family’s call to be agents of transformation through the Leavening Movement and the Church’s call to be Pilgrims of Hope during this Jubilee Year.

Between March 31st and April 4th, De La Salle, Senior School hosted the workshops for the project -KA210 – SCH- DC499A2E  'Transition from STEM to Robotics'.

CHoRE refers to a gathering of Chaplains, Head’s of RE and Animators from GB, which takes place every year at St Cassian’s, Kintbury. This year we were delighted to welcome two Chaplains from De La Salle College and Stella Maris in Malta and colleagues from St Bede’s Catholic College. All present felt especially privileged to have Brother Enrico Muller, from Italy, lead the reflections on this year’s theme of ‘Lasallian Spirituality’.

The exciting times at St Benild School continued this month with a number of memorable events taking place.

Over the last couple of weeks at St Gregory’s Catholic College the focus of Lent has been on Reconciliation, with classes benefitting from a Reconciliation Service in the Chapel specifically for their age group.
