LASALLIAN Projects (Ireland) 2025 was a roaring success in India. It culminated in the completion of the eight badly needed classrooms in Keelamudiman and the construction of the multi-purpose hall in Suranam. Auxiliary Visitor Brother Tommy Walsh reflects on a memorable experience.

On Friday 11th April, the pupils and staff at St Illtyd’s celebrated “Culture Day”. Organisers spent several weeks in the lead up to the event preparing and creating activities for the day.

It has been a very positive start to the year at Castletown Pastoral Centre with a school review once again underlining the great work or the team.

The District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta will join in the celebrations for this year’s International Lasallian Days for Peace (ILDP): “We Are Bridges for Peace: From Conflict to Connection.”

Throughout July and August, two groups gathered in Mellieha, Malta for what proved to be a wonderful Lasallian Induction Programme.

De La Salle College Macroom 5th Year and Autism Hub students came together for a special art project focused on the Lasallian core principle of inclusion.

As special reunion of Lasallians was held in Castletown on August 29th as former students gathered to celebrate their time at the Junior School.

De La Salle College Belfast enjoyed a fantastic day of reflection and collaboration at the start of the academic year.

Today, Lasallian Reflection 11 (2025-2026) has been published under the title: "All is Connected: The Community of Creation and Universal Fraternity"

The Jubilee of Youth as part of the Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope for the Church was celebrated in Rome from July 28th to August 3rd and the District of Ireland Great Britain and Malta was represented by Beti and Brandon from Kintbury who have reflected on a memorable experience.

Pupils from St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy demonstrated their faith and commitment as they took part in Mass on Thursday 10th July, marking the start of the Eucharistic Congress across North Staffs Deanery.

This term has completed a brilliant year in the Catholic Life and Mission and Collective Worship in St Illtyd’s. Mrs Wonnacott, the RE department and our Chaplaincy groups have made a massive impact on this crucial aspect of school life.

De La Salle School St Helens celebrated Mission Week with three full days of off-timetable activities, designed to engage over 1,000 students in meaningful, reflective, and joyful experiences rooted in our Catholic identity.

The History Department at St Gregory’s Catholic College in Bath is celebrating once again after being awarded the Historical Association’s prestigious History Quality Mark (HQM) Gold Award – for a second consecutive time.

From July 14th, the Volunteer Team at the centre experienced a busy final week as a community.

Over 110 young people from six different DLS Schools descended with their sleeping bags and tents to St. Cassian’s Retreat Centre in Kintbury.

Year 8 students from St. Augustine’s Catholic College in Trowbridge had their annual retreat before the end of term where they were all involved in exciting workshops that allowed them to think about, and express creatively, our commitment as a Lasallian College to caring for our Common Home.
